About Handshake

Handshake is a curated running store on Rue de Namur in Brussels, founded by runners Antoine and Hans.

Both come from fashion, and both run: Antoine mostly on the road, Hans on the trails. Many of the brands they cared about weren't sold in Belgium, and there was nowhere to try them on or talk to someone who actually runs in them. So they opened a shop for it.

Everything here is made for running, and everything is picked by hand: we stock what we'd wear ourselves and skip the rest. All of it is sourced directly from the brands and their official distributors.

A handshake stands for respect, connection and new beginnings, like the high five you share with your crew after a hard session. The shop is part of Brussels' growing running scene, with community runs, events and seasonal drops.
