Instead of a single row of Clouds compressing on landing, there are two stacked layers working together, which spreads the impact over a longer window and softens the transition from heel to toe. Underneath sits Helion superfoam, On's lightest and most responsive foam to date — it's what keeps a shoe this cushioned from feeling heavy or dead underfoot. The upper is a lightweight recycled mesh, breathable enough for long efforts, with a flat-knit collar and revised eyestay construction that locks the foot in without adding pressure points.
